·       In every year, 25th May is celebrated as World Thyroid Day to promote awareness and understanding of thyroid health and advances made in treating thyroid diseases. World Thyroid Day was established in 2008 by European Thyroid Association & American Thyroid Association.

·       Donald Trump becomes the 1st foreign leader to meet Japan’s enthroned Emperor Naruhito.

·       Chandrani Murmu becomes the youngest Lok Sabha MP at the age of 25 years.

·       Apurvi Chandela wins Gold in 10m Air Rifle at ISSF Munich World Cup.

·       Mahesh Mangonkar wins Sekisui Open Title for the second time in his career.

·       Justice DN Patel appointed as nest Chief Justice of Delhi High Court.

·       SKM leader Prem Singh Golay will take oath as new Chief Minister of Sikkim along with his council of minister at Palzor Stadium in Gangtok.

·       Indian badminton Chief Himanta Biswas has been elected as the vice-president of badminton Asia’s development.

·        International Commonwealth day. Theme 2019 A Connected Commonwealth

·        Uber has partnered with Australian tourist group Tourism Queensland to offer the world’s 1st rideshare submarine, ScUber. ScUber will offer rides to explore the Great Barrier Reef.

·        Akshay Kumar becomes the brand ambassador of TAFE, India’s 2nd largest Tractor manufacture (by volumes).

·        Indian Contemporary artist Nalini Malani becomes the 1st Indian to win Joan Miro Prize 2019, one of the most prestigious contemporary art awards in the world. It is awarded every 2 years in the memory of Spanish painter and sculptor Joan Miro’s life and work.

·        New Space India Limited, the commercial arm of Indian Space Research Organization, was officially inaugurated in Bengaluru, by honorary advisor Dr K Kasturirangan in the presence of chairmen Dr. K Sivan.

·        India bags 57 medals including 12 gold, 18 Silver & 27 Bronze at India Open International Boxing tournament in Guwahati. Mary Kom, Shiva Thapa, L Sarita Devi & Naman Tanwar won gold in their respective finals.
